Jessica Simpson really was that girl in the early 00s and honestly looking at her latest selfie she basically hasn't changed one bit. She just posted makeup free to mark her 43rd birthday and she looks pretty much the same as the early 2000s. Doing the maths we now realise she was just 22 when she married Nick Lachey (yes Love is Blind's Nick Lachey) and had us all gripped in Newlyweds: Nick and Jess. Explains why she's still so fresh faced now, she was a young whipper snapper when we watched her as kiddos.
Well, she's still a young whipper snapper now. Celebrating her birthday the star posted this snap to her Instagram page captioned; "43 makeup free (kinda. Ha. I did curl my lashes) 🦀♋️🤍🤍🤍" And she looks so gorgeous.
Glowwwwiiinng. This pared back look really suits her and was worn with her hair pulled back too for good measure. Her sister Ashlee Simpson (omg such iconic sibs) popped up in the comments to say; "Happy Birthday my beautiful sister love you so very much ❤️" bringing back even more nostalgia.
The Instagram police were in the comments debating whether she was in fact wearing concealer, lip gloss, mascara blah blah. And they just need to go have some alone time, listen to I wanna love you forever, and take a day off. She acknowledged curling her lashes and lets face it, she has access to the best facials and beauty treatments money can buy, who's to say this isn't just a slick of lip balm and a seven figure bank balance? Hey?
