Jessica Chastain & Octavia Spencer Are Teaming Up for the Holiday Comedy of Our Dreams
It may be January, but Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer just gave us the best early Christmas present.
The Help costars are teaming up to bring holiday cheer with a new Christmas comedy.
According to Variety, the unnamed film follows two women who brave the elements in hopes of making it home for the holidays. The story is based off an original idea from Chastain and her Freckle Film’s head of production and development, Kelly Carmichael. Peter Chiarelli (Crazy Rich Asians) will pen the script.
This marks Chastain and Spencer’s first collaboration since they both won Oscars for their roles in The Help.
Can we all agree this calls for some eggnog?
