Jessica Chastain Fans Can't Believe the Outfit She Wore That Shut Down a Red Carpet

As someone known for projects like The Eyes of Tammy Faye and her new Showtime miniseries George and Tammy, Jessica Chastain has taken lots of career risks. But she's equally known for being adventurous on the red carpet.

Most recently, in mid-November, the 45-year-old actress had everyone in awe when she arrived at the 13th annual Governors Awards for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She attended the Hollywood event wearing a stunning red long-sleeve gown with an intricate crochet-like design. The neckline of the dress was unique as it started just below her shoulders and flowed down into a scoop.

Jessica's striking dress wasn't accompanied by accessories. Instead, the red carpet couture owned the moment. Her fiery red hair was blown straight with a part down the middle, and she wore natural makeup.

When the Zero Dark Thirty star posted a video montage of her night on Instagram, folks immediately reacted to the stunning look. They let her know it, too, by way of social media comments.

"It's true, according to some scientific studies, Jessica Chastain is a goddess 💖😍," one fan wrote on Instagram. "Whoever said redheads can’t wear red. Stunningly beautiful! Inspiration for a fellow redhead," a different follower added. "Wow that dress is beyond ❤️," another person replied.

Needless to say, The Good Nurse actress' latest attire proves why she is a fashionable force. What's more, Jessica has been expanding her clothing tastes with each appearance she makes for various press events. While she was promoting her Netflix film The Good Nurse in October, she attended a New York screening wearing a white one-shouldered mini dress that had bows all along its left side.

Couple this with the fact Jessica has new projects in store for 2023, it's highly likely we'll be just as stunned by her next fashion moment.
