ABC executives, if you're reading this, the ball is now in your court.

Jesse Metcalfe has a plan that could get the desperate housewives residing on Wisteria Lane together again.

The actor, now 44, exclusively told Parade that while he hasn't heard anything about a potential Desperate Housewives reboot, he has a fairly good idea up his sleeve should anyone be interested in hearing him out.

"I think they could definitely reboot Desperate Housewives," Metcalfe confidently noted. "I could be like one of the parents of like the younger cast or something."

Metcalfe graduated from his role as John Rowland–the young gardener at the opposite end of Gabrielle Solis' (played by Eva Longoria) affair–in the mid-2000s, going on to star in Hallmark hits like Chesapeake Shores.

In fact, he is actually gearing up for the big release of his newest feature, in which he portrays Kari Sorenson, the true hero of an unimaginable set of circumstances, opposite Heather Graham and Dennis Quaid.

The new film is a Prime Video original movie titled On a Wing and a Prayer and is based on the extraordinary true story of a family's harrowing journey to land a plane safely after their pilot unexpectedly dies mid-flight.

The film's official synopsis reads: "With no experience flying the twin-engine aircraft, Doug White (Quaid) struggles to save his entire family alongside his wife-turned-co-pilot Terri White (Graham), from seemingly certain tragedy. With the help of a far-flung group of determined 'angels,' including the experienced pilot, Sorenson (Metcalfe), who join forces in a race against time and weather, the Whites learn a great deal about themselves, each other, and the miracles that simple faith can achieve."

Directed by Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer) and written by Brian Egeston (House of Payne), the movie was produced by Marco Henry, with the story's subject, Dough White, serving as co-producer. On a Wing and a Prayer is set to premiere on Friday, April 7, exclusively via Amazon Prime Video.
