A Seinfeld reunion? This doesn't sound like just yada, yada, yada. Jerry Seinfeld has hinted that there could be more Seinfeld in the future.

During a stand-up routine on Oct. 7, 2023, the titular actor was asked if he liked the ending of his hit sitcom. In a video shared on X, Seinfeld told the audience in Boston that he has "a little secret" about the ending, but couldn't "really tell it."

He did, however, tease, “Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet."

The comedian added, “Just what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So, you’ll see.”

Seinfeld, which also starred Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine Benes), Jason Alexander (George Costanza) and Michael Richards (Kramer), came to an end in 1998 after nine seasons. In the series finale, the four friends were sentenced to a year in prison after breaking the "Good Samaritan Law" in Latham, Massachusetts.

The cast came together for a fictional reunion in Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. "Larry, we already screwed up one finale, we can't do another,” Seinfeld said in an episode.

Years later, in 2018, Seinfeld, who co-created the "show about nothing" with David, told Ellen DeGeneres that it's "possible" Seinfeld could come back. Seems it's now just a matter of when and what!

What is going on with Seinfeld?

In the words of Seinfeld, "Something is going to happen." It's unclear what exactly is in the works (whether it's a new ending, a reunion, a revival or a reboot) since the actor kept mum. We'll just have to wait and see.

Is there going to be a Seinfeld reunion or revival?

Seinfeld himself said that "something is going to happen" with respect to the show's controversial ending, but he hasn't said what. So while there could in theory be a reunion or a revival in the future, neither has been confirmed.
