Jerry Seinfeld Reveals Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story

Jerry Seinfeld‘s got a new comedy coming out - and it’s about Pop Tarts.

Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story chronicles the cereal rivalry between Kellogg’s and Post in the 960s. It stars Seinfeld, alongside Melissa McCarthy and Jim Gaffigan.

Releasing May 3 on Netflix, the movie marks Seinfeld’s directorial debut.

The actor and comedian has long been fascinated by Pop Tarts. Speaking at a comedy show in November, Seinfeld said “I loved doing [Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story] because I love the Pop-Tart. When I was a kid and the Pop-Tart came out, the back of my head blew right off.”

Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story is part of a wave of new shows and movies revealed dring Netflix’s Next presentation, which was held at the streaming service’s headquarters in Los Angeles.

Joining them is spy film The Union, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, as well as Rebel Moon: Part 2 - The Scargiver, Beverly Hills Cop, and new seasons of Bridgerton and Umbrella Academy.
