Jeremy Renner Shares Post-Accident Recovery Workout

The actor has a pretty impressive routine.

Jeremy Renner couldn't be happier to be back at the gym!

The Hawkeye star showed off what his new workout routine looks like following his near-fatal snowplow accident three months ago.

On Tuesday, the 52-year-old actor shared a video of himself working out at the gym for the first time since the harrowing accident that left him with over 30 broken bones, a pierced liver, a collapsed lung, among other injuries.

The now-deleted Instagram Story captured Renner lifting dumbbells in what appeared to be his at-home gym. He then shared two other stories that featured the kind motivational messages his 10-year-old daughter Ava leaves him around the gym, "She leaves me post-it notes all over to keep me going!!"

One note read "Hi beautiful" with a small smiley face, while another said, "Just keep running, just keep running," a play on Disney's Finding Nemo.

"My daughter inspires me, what inspires you?" he asked.

Back in March, the Mayor of Kingstown actor took to Twitter to share a video of himself walking again for the first time following the accident.

"I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will," Renner wrote alongside the video of himself walking on an anti-gravity treadmill

The video showed the Hawkeye actor on a treadmill with guardrails that appeared to provide him with additional support around the waist. He spoke with a man, possibly his trainer, standing next to him as he walked on the treadmill, stating that using the device was like "having a cane."

"And you're totally doing the walking motion," the man next to him stated, to which Renner replied, "Correct. Yeah, just with only 40% of my weight."

It's wonderful to see the tremendous progress Renner has made throughout his recovery process.
