Jeremy Renner Shares Another Hospital Update on His Instagram Story

His sister recently told 'People' that he's 'crushing' his recovery goals.

Jeremy Renner remains on the road to recovery following his freak accident on New Year's Day.

The Marvel star was clearing the snow off of his property on the first of the year and trying to help one of his family members who was stuck in the snow when he was run over by his own plow, leaving him in critical condition.

He's been sure to keep his fans apprised of his status, sharing his first update from the hospital in the form of a bed-ridden selfie just two days later, thanking everyone for their love and support and sending his own love back at them.

Just a few days later, on his 52nd birthday, he sent thanks to his "renowned" ICU team for their expert care, sharing a photo with several of his caretakers surrounding him.

Late last night, he shared another brief update on his Instagram stories, writing "I wish you all a very special night" over a clip he recorded of the foot of his bed as he was wheeled into another room for a CT or MRI.

It's not clear how much longer Renner faces in the hospital, but his sister, Kym Renner, recently told People that he's "making positive progress."

She also told the publication: "We are so thrilled with his progress. If anyone knows Jeremy, he is a fighter and doesn't mess around. He is crushing all the progress goals. We couldn't feel more positive about the road ahead."

Despite his progress and clearly upbeat attitude, Renner is expected to face "a long road to recovery." It'll be some time before we see him back on set for anything but, in the meantime, he's pumped for the sightings of ads for the second season of Mayor of Kingstown that have gone up around town, which premieres tomorrow on Paramount+.
