NBA Broadcasters Slam Jeremy Lin’s Changing Hair

27-year-old basketball player Jeremy Lin, famed by Linsanity, has sported a series of new ‘dos this season. Some stand high and others slick down, but all of them require some heavy-handed gel use. Apparently NBA broadcasters are more interested in his hair than his recent trade to the Charlotte, NC Hornets, because they can’t help but to comment. One video compiles all the broadcaster remarks about Lin’s changing hairstyles, from “a comic book character” to “the porcupine kid”.

Starting the season with a Jersey Shore style Mohawk…

Then changing to a tiny ponytail in December…

Jeremy now opts for a more refined, side slicked look but admitted in an interview that he’s “just trying to figure it out himself.”

Some fans approve:

And others are less allured.

One thing’s for sure – Lin’s Instagram proves that he knows how to laugh at himself when it comes to his hair, posting photos that poke fun at the season-long hair changes.

His Zoolander-esque bedhead look is one of our favorites.

His blue look takes the ‘do to the next level.

And this style bares a stark resemblance to Spongebob’s house.

With two and a half months left in the season, we wonder what else his extra-hold gel is capable of.

Maybe something like this:

Or even this.

And for those of you who didn’t get the broadcaster’s reference to the ‘90s skier Glen Plake, here you go:

You do you, Jeremy Lin.
