Jeopardy! has reportedly landed on two permanent hosts—and they're very familiar to fans of the game show.

While fans were debating the hosting talents between Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings, Sony Pictures Entertainment found the perfect solution as new reports reveal that the two will continue to split hosting duties moving forward.

A source close to the matter told Variety that Bialik and Jennings are in negotiations to continue permanently sharing hosting responsibilities as they have been doing for a while now.

The source states that the two will share time hosting the regular show, while Bialik will host primetime specials and the upcoming spinoff, Celebrity Jeopardy! Since Sony intends to expand Jeopardy!, they decided that having two hosts was essential.

Currently, Bialik also stars in the FOX comedy series Call Me Kat, which will premiere Season 3 at the end of September.

Previously, the actor and host spoke about negative and insulting comments from Jeopardy! fans about her time hosting. It remains to be seen how fans will react to the new report.

This news, if confirmed, lines up with what executive producer Michael Davies told Variety in June, saying, "With all of our plans for Jeopardy! — which is more Jeopardy!, not less, more versions —we’re going to need multiple hosts to represent the entire audience, to represent the entire country, in order to take this franchise forward.”

As of writing, Sony Pictures Entertainment has not responded to requests for comment or officially confirmed whether or not the source's claims are true and correct.

When Davies spoke to Variety last month, he stated that there will be "a hosting announcement very, very soon," so hopefully the show's production company will make an official announcement in the coming days.
