‘Jeopardy! Masters’ Star James Holzhauer Called Out Ken Jennings With an NSFW Comment

James Holzhauer is never one to lose out on an opportunity to make a funny remark about someone—even when it’s host Ken Jennings.

The former Jeopardy! champion is currently starring on Jeopardy! Masters, facing off against the likes of Matt Amodio and Mattea Roach for the title. During a recent taping featuring the trio, Ken was on hand to quiz them in a new category called Authors’ Pretty Decent Reviews. As Ken read the answer about novelist Anne Rice being referred to as “elegantly erotic and full of enchanting terror,” he managed to find a way to tease James about it.

“I also refer to James as elegantly erotic and full of enchanting terror,” he joked, which you can see in a clip posted on Twitter. But James quickly replied back to the risqué comment with his own spicy comeback. “Keep it in your pants, Ken,” James quipped.

Naturally, fans thought the entire exchange was hilarious. “Oh yes, the banter is brilliant. Team James, all the way!!!” one person wrote on Twitter. “That back-and-forth was hilarious!” a different user agreed. “Definitely a highlight of the competition and your response was superb,” another follower added.

Of course, those who have been tuning in to Jeopardy! know that James has a lot to be happy about. Presently, he holds the top spot in the Jeopardy! Masters tournament and secured a spot in the semifinal alongside Andrew He. As for who will join them, it’s between Mattea, Matt, and Amy Schneider, who are all vying for the coveted spot.

Who knows, maybe we’ll see another epic moment between Ken and James unfold before a winner is determined. Here’s to hoping!
