Get ready folks, because it looks like we're in for another round of one of Jeopardy!'s most talked-about tournaments.

Less than a year after James Holzhauer become the champion on the inaugural season of Jeopardy! Masters, the show has officially been renewed for season 2. As Variety reported on February 10, the ABC series will return soon for a second season with Ken Jennings as host.

Fans can expect a new batch of exciting episodes featuring the highest-ranking Jeopardy! champions battling it out for the new title. The show's format will reportedly be the same, consisting of 10, hour-long episodes with two games each.

As the top three finalists, the rules state that James Holzhauer, Mattea Roach and Matt Amodio will all be invited to participate in the upcoming competition. The contestants for season 2 "will be announced at a later date," according to Variety.

While the premiere date is also TBA, Jeopardy!'s social team confirmed the renewal news on Instagram. The promo post features a photo of Ken and the text, "primetime event coming soon."

"Get your brains ready!" the caption read. "#JeopardyMasters is coming back soon with host Ken Jennings."

When fans discovered Jeopardy! Masters would return for season 2, they immediately shared their excitement in the comments.

"Masters season 1 was some of the best Jeopardy I’ve ever seen. My expectations are high," one person exclaimed on Instagram. "YAY! MORE JEOPARDY! MASTERS!!!" another declared. "Can’t wait!!👏👏👏👏," a different follower added.

What's more, some viewers begged Ken to step down from his hosting gig and instead take part in the competition, echoing a similar call from fans when season 1 of Jeopardy! Masters was announced.

"Ken should be competing!! The 🐐!" one fan implored. "Let Ken play or it isn’t truly 'masters,'" another replied.

While it's unlikely that Ken will come back as a contestant anytime soon, he'll still be a staple on ABC as the permanent, sole host of Jeopardy!. It was recently announced that Mayim Bialik was let go and will no longer co-host the syndicated version of the quiz show. But as executive producer Michael Davies revealed during the TCA winter press tour, he is open to seeing Mayim come back for future Jeopardy! tournaments.

"Mayim is a superb host," he said, per Variety. "We hope to continue working with her on primetime versions — this conversation is ongoing."

If this is the case, who knows what will happen...
