'Jeopardy!' Host Ken Jennings Stuns Fans With a Never-Before-Seen Family Photo

Ken Jennings is getting personal with Jeopardy! fans.

The quiz show host recently shared a glimpse of his life outside of his Jeopardy! duties. Over the weekend, Ken posted a photo of his son, Dylan, enjoying a baseball game between the Seattle Mariners and the Oakland Athletics. During the family outing, the TV personality noted that the Mariners last earned a spot in the playoffs back in 2001. At that time, he and his wife, Mindy, were newly married.

“The last time his team made it to the playoffs, this guy wasn't born yet,” Ken captioned a photo of his son on Twitter. “He just started his sophomore year of college. Congrats @Mariners!”

In the picture, Dylan flaunts a Mariners jersey while sitting in the stands. With one hand holding his food, he gives his dad a thumbs up.

Reacting to Ken’s rare family photo, Jeopardy! fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts.“So handsome. His dad is a fantastic jeopardy host. ❤️,” one person wrote in the comments section. “He looks just like you 💕,” another added. “Thanks for sharing this photo. I love seeing this type of share!” a different fan said.

According to Ken’s website, he met Mindy at Brigham Young University. The two graduated together in 2000 and got married later that fall. Ken and Mindy also have a daughter named Caitlin. The family lives in Seattle, Washington.

Although not much is known about Ken’s personal life, he has shared snippets of what it’s like being a parent. Speaking with Yahoo! Life, he opened up about experiencing the coronavirus pandemic with his wife and kids. Though it was “really rough,” he prioritized keeping a positive attitude.

“For me, being a dad is a lot like being a cruise director, being the smiling face of the family,” he told the outlet. “Like, here are the activities, here’s the good attitude — despite everything — a rah-rah Scoutmaster type.”

Ken continued: “That’s not who I am at my core, but as a dad, you kind of have to turn into that. Luckily, I had over a decade of experience of it when the pandemic hit. That’s when you need your best cruise director's affect and attitude.”
