Jeopardy! fans, be prepared for the penultimate game. The game show is putting the final touches on the 2022 Tournament of Championships (ToC), and its lineup is a doozy.

Starting on October 31, we'll see some familiar quiz pros face off yet again in an epic battle of smarts. Ken Jennings will host the ToC as 21 former champions mentally duke it out in a three-round tournament for the ultimate title and a $250,000 prize. It's one worth seeing as the recent season of Jeopardy! spawned some of the longest-winning game streaks ever.

Fueling excitement, the show's official Twitter account posted a photo of the full bracket divided by quarterfinals, semifinals, finals and the champion (!) slot. Some memorable names include Amy Schneider, who had an impressive 40-win streak; the "what is" winner Matt Amodio, who famously held a 38-winning streak, and Mattea Roach, who earned 23 wins. Plus, the most recent Jeopardy! champion Ryan Long, Professors Tournament 2022 winner Sam Buttrey and meteorologist Eric Ahasic.

The show's caption read, "They're going head to head. Who are your top picks for this #JeopardyToC bracket?"

Seems like the hype is beyond measure as fans are already declaring their camps and staking their bets. "If there's a sleeper, I think it's Sam. I loved his run on the show. But I think either Matt or Amy takes it," one fan replied to the tweet. "Jaskaran vs Eric is going to be awesome. Love Ryan’s game too," a different person said. "This Tournament Of Champions is going to be intense," another added.

Intense, indeed. It's stiff competition as any winners from the quarterfinals advance to the semi-finals to challenge double digit Jeopardy! champions. The quiz geniuses received automatic entry into the next round.

But, for fans who want to see the brainiacs go head-to-head, consider your wish granted — the trio will compete for the first time ever during a special warm-up exhibition on November 8, according to TV Insider.

One fan's excitement perfectly summed up the fandom's reaction. They responded to the show's tweet and wrote: "You all need to mute me before this #Jeopardy! ToC starts airing because I am not going to shut up about this absolutely stacked roster. This is the Olympics for trivia nerds but as if it were fancasted by die-hard Olympics fans."

We can't wait to see this showdown!
