Fans can now easily watch re-runs of old Jeopardy! episodes hosted by the late Alex Trebek at their leisure, all thanks to a new partnership with a streaming service.

Trebek served as host of the household program–which has now been in syndication for 39 seasons–from 1984 until about 10 days before his death in Nov. 2020, filming throughout his nearly two-year battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

During Trebek's 36-year-tenure hosting the award-winning program, he appeared in over 8,400 episodes, held a "secret job" behind the podium, and in 2014, he even earned the Guinness World Record for "most gameshow episodes hosted by the same presenter" when at the time, he had only 6,829 episode credits.

Shortly after his death, the network revealed that there were approximately 30 unaired episodes of the long-running game show and proceeded to air them posthumously, with the last Trebek-hosted episode premiering on Jan. 8, 2021.

His legacy as the host of Jeopardy! is just as strong as ever as the show and fans continue to honor his on-screen presence.

New episodes of the game show are currently airing on weeknights.
