For anyone who had questions about Ike Barinholtz being a contender for Jeopardy!'s 2024 Tournament of Champions competition, say no more. He's not only proving his place in the lineup, he's causing a stir among fans by how good he actually is.

During the March 4 quarterfinal episode of the hit segment, The Mindy Project alum went up against Melissa Klapper and Ray Lalonde (who once had a 13-game winning streak) to see who would advance to the semifinals of the event. As host Ken Jennings quizzed them in the "Numeric Movie Titles" category, viewers watched Ike shock the audience by wagering all of his earnings in an attempt to stay in the game. As the clue about Italian moviemaker Federico Fellini directing the 1963 film 8 1/2 played on screen, Ike shocked viewers by delivering the correct answer. What's more, the clip was quickly uploaded on Instagram just hours after the moment happened on air.

"Gotta keep things 300 for this category 💯💯💯," read the caption.

Upon seeing Ike's pop culture skills flourish on TV, many couldn't believe how great he was at playing the game.

"Dude Ike winning is most impressive jeopardy [win] I’ve seen," one person wrote on Instagram. "I like Ike 👍," another added while referencing former President Dwight D. Eisenhower's campaign slogan. "Ike is 🔥🔥🔥. What a good player," a different viewer added.

While Ike eventually won the episode (with a total of $28,601) and advanced to the next round of Tournament of Champions, it shouldn't come as a surprise how well he's doing in the competition. As folks may remember, the History of the World, Part II actor competed in season 1 of Celebrity Jeopardy! starting in late 2022. After competing against names like Simu Liu and Iliza Schlesinger, he managed to win the entire season with a $1 million prize donated to the Pacific Clinics organization.

Looks like we need to keep an eye on out on how Ike fares throughout the rest of the tournament!
