'Jeopardy!' Champion Goes Viral for Epic Wrong Answer

Jeopardy! contestant Jack Weller has found himself trending online after giving a comically incorrect answer on Tuesday's episode of the game show, which left viewers laughing at the very relatable flub-up.
While answering a question from the category, "Plurals That Don't End in S," Weller was prompted with the clue "Moose," to which he responded, "What are meese?"
The answer elicited a small chuckle out of host Ken Jennings and even Weller himself, along with his fellow contestant, Alicia O'Hare, who ended up landing on the correct answer.
Weller—a law student from San Diego, Calif.—was likely thinking of the word "geese," the plural for "goose" when answering the question, although the plural of moose is actually just "moose," so it was a bit of a trick question.
Even though Weller answered the clue incorrectly, he seemed to get an overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans on Twitter, who found the embarrassing moment to be quite relatable.
"I just loved that. So cute! And so human!" one person wrote.
"In fairness, it's a logical train of thought," another Twitter user pointed out.
Even Weller joined in on the fun on Twitter while quoting a post from the official Jeopardy! account that was captioned, "A goose is to geese what a moose is to ... uh ... well, tell 'em, Jack!"
Weller shared the post, along with his own witty caption, 'Potato, poteese."
Despite the mistake, Weller ended up taking home the victory in Tuesday's Second Chance Competition, and will advance to the finals on the Thursday, Oct. 27 episode.
