For four single farmers, it's time to get down to business!

FOX is ready to round up true love by rebooting the unscripted dating show, Farmer Wants a Wife. Four hard-working farmers — Allen Foster, Ryan Black, Hunter Grayson, and Landon Heaton — are in search of a love that will last.

The show has already aired in 32 countries resulting in 180 marriages and 410 children. Hard to wrap your head around that, right? That's rare compared to other dating shows where relationships end in a years-long engagement or contestants return home still single as a pringle. That's exactly why romance reality skeptic and Grammy Award-winning artist Jennifer Nettles decided to take the reins as host.

Country Living caught up with the Sugarland singer to see what it's really like finding love on television and why Farmer Wants a Wife is a fresh take on reality show dating.

"There are a number of ways that it's different, and those ways are what actually compelled and drew me to the show," Nettles said. "This show is wonderfully and refreshingly authentic. It is heartfelt, and it's quite successful in terms of accomplishing what it sets out to do."

She boasted that the show was "double-vetted," meaning that the leading men and single women who have left behind city life for the charms (and challenges) of country living get to mutually select one another. From there, the women get to experience what life is really like on a farm all while deciding how far they're willing to go for love.

"[Farmer Wants a Wife] really asks the question of, 'What are you willing to risk for love?' 'What are you willing to give up for love?' 'What is your sense of adventure for love?' and being able to ask yourself these questions intentionally," the singer explained.

Nettles continued with, "These guys are small towns. They're from small communities, and you'll hear them say, 'I've never had any woman on the farm!'" Being able to offer them guidance is one of her greatest joys when hosting the show. "I definitely get to be a confidant and mentor. I sort of say that I feel like a fairy godmother."

Of course, we had to get the real tea from Nettles ahead of the show — can fans expect new music? Short answer: No. She assured, "[Fans] will hear, though, some of my music in appropriate underscore in the show here and there."

To see how it all goes down, mark your calendars for the premiere of Farmer Wants a Wife Wednesday, March 8 on FOX!
