The actress and mother of three has some new ink that is very dear to her heart.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is making sure her kids are always with her wherever she goes.

The 9-1-1 actress recently got tattooed with some brand new ink in honor of her children, who will now be a permanent part of their mom's skin in the shape of three beautiful butterflies.

The mother of three—who shares kids  Autumn James, 9, Atticus James, 7 and Aidan James, 1, with her husband Brian Hallisay—gave her followers a glimpse at the body art via social media on Tuesday, April 11, uploading a joint Instagram post with tattoo artist Victoria Do to reveal the beautiful new tats.

"Butterflies for her kids and some finger adornments for the sweetest @jenniferlovehewitt 🦋☀️🌿," read the caption on the post, which showed off the three butterflies inked into Love Hewitt's upper left arm, as well as the ornate work on her fingers, including a leaf, a sunset and more pretty images.

The Client List star is no stranger to doting on her kids, as she often tells her social media followers how thankful she is to be a mama three times over. While ringing in her 44th birthday back in February, she took the opportunity to count her blessings and express gratitude for her life with Hallisay and their three kiddos.

"Woke up at 4am and was 44," she wrote on Instagram at the time, alongside a candid makeup-free selfie. "I am deeply grateful, blessed, happy, sometimes insecure about aging, a mom of three incredible babies, married to the most handsome and awesome man, and really excited to see what this year has for us."

"I feel magic in the air and I love magic," she added, while also giving a shoutout to her mother, who passed away from cancer in 2012. "Thank you mom for giving me life. I miss you so much."

She went on to share a sweet moment with her son Atticus, who she said woke up early to sing her happy birthday. "My heart melted," she wrote. "Now go have a great day everyone. It’s my birthday you have to do it! ❤️"
