Jennifer Love Hewitt Debuts Dramatic Transformation Sparking Cosmetic Surgery Rumors

Jennifer Love Hewitt responded to plastic surgery rumors.
The 44-year-old 9-1-1 actress credits a change in her appearance to a new haircut.
Hewitt said that the only cosmetic procedure she gets is microblading of her eyebrows.
While some celebrities embrace cosmetic treatments and procedures, others are vocal about avoiding them. Jennifer Love Hewitt is joining the plastic surgery naysayer camp, clapping back at commenters who accused the star of having work done after a dramatic transformation. In recent Instagram Stories, the 9-1-1 star explained that a simple haircut was behind her recent change in appearance.
What spurred fans to think Hewitt had gone under the knife in the first place? It all began when hairstylist Nikki Lee shared an Instagram reel showing quick clips from before, during, and after the processes of dyeing and cutting Hewitt’s hair. The actress went from blonde to a reddish brown and cut her long locks into a blunt chic bob. Lee captioned the post, “Was time to spice things up 🌶️ @jenniferlovehewitt @ninezeroone #901girl.”
Hewitt’s hair looked healthy and shiny, giving her an overall stunning, youthful glow. While Lee’s video focused on Hewitt’s hair transformation, viewers called out some other changes that they claimed to have noticed. One person wrote, “Where is Jennifer? That looks nothing like her.” Another commented, “Wow...😮 she doesn’t look like herself anymore 😕.”
On September 3, the star decided to respond to the rumors in a classic Hewitt way—with humor. She posted five heavily filtered photos (one even made her look like a young cartoon girl): “So many people said I look different,” she wrote in one photo, per Allure. “I look the same as always. Couldn’t look more natural. I woke up like this. Filters don’t change you that much.”
Jokes aside, the Ghost Whisperer actress posted a video to her Instagram Stories to address the rumors and open up about cosmetic procedures. “I don’t usually do this, but I’ve had a lot of people lately say that I’ve had a brow-lifting procedure,” she said, according to Allure. “I didn’t even know you could lift your brows like that. The only thing that I’ve done is microblading with Audrey [Glass], who I love.”
In addition to microblading, Hewitt raved about one eyebrow product she believes sparked the brow-lift rumors. “I don’t have anything on them today really, except this product, but it’s the Rare Beauty lifting gel stuff,” she said. She thanked Selena Gomez (who started Rare Beauty)in the video and noted that the Brow Harmony Flexible Lifting Gel is “the brow lifting that people are talking about.”

Despite all the plastic surgery rumors and hateful comments, some fans offered their support for her new look in the comments section of Lee’s post. One fan commented, “I love it!! So beautiful ❤️” Another wrote, “That’s such a pretty color!” Full House actress Jodie Sweetin chimed in, too: “Gorgeous!! @jenniferlovehewitt this cut and color look stunning!!”
