Jennifer Lopez’s New Year’s Eve Nails Are So Stunning

Did any celebrity have a better year than Jennifer Lopez? Seriously, her 2019 was amazing, and 2020 looks to be even better.

J.Lo always seems to be at the top of her game, but in 2019 she was announced as the halftime act for the Super Bowl, got engaged to boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, and earned critical and popular acclaim for the very excellent movie Hustlers—and there's a chance she'll follow up her Golden Globe nomination with one for an Academy Award. Oh, and she turned 50 and busted out that famous Versace dress again on the runway in Milan, looking just as fabulous as she did the first time she wore it, 20 years ago.

Naturally, she was going to ring in 2020 in glamorous J.Lo-style—right down to her gorgeous manicure. The singer-actor-producer-mogul celebrated with Rodriguez and their children, and they all seemed to have a wonderful time, but it was her nails that seriously caught our eye.

Celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik shared some snaps of his handiwork on Instagram. "Last day of 2019 & I had the pleasure of spending sometime with one of my favorites @jlo 🖤#nailsbytombachik. Went with @versace inspired #nail look to Rock in the New Year. Thank You Jen for always pushing me to do my best. Love You🥰 HAPPY NEW YEARs EVERYONE🎉," he wrote.

Just look at the amazing, gilded detail on each nail—it's incredible and so Versace. It's almost as if Donatella herself created them, and we can think of no better design inspiration than the Italian house to cap off Lopez's 2019. "Sooooo sick 💥💥♥️♥️," Lopez commented on Bachik's Instagram post and she's right. We're also obsessed with her accessories like that "BAD" ring.

"I feel stronger and more at peace with who I am now than I ever have... I hope that you all can look back in the same way and enjoy every moment of your journey," she wrote in a New Year's post. "Savor it, enjoy it!!!! It’s the 20’s. Get ready to roar!!! And laugh and dance and live live live! ♥️♥️♥️"
