Jennifer Lopez’s 12-Year-Old Daughter, Emme, Is Publishing a Children’s Book—and It Sounds so Sweet (PureWow)

Emme Muñiz is one impressive pre-teen.

Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony's 12-year-old daughter is about to publish her first children's book. Titled Lord Help Me, it's described in a press release as "an inspirational story that shares the everyday power of mindfulness through prayer."

Featuring illustrations by Brenda Figueroa, the book will be released in English and Spanish on September 29, 2020. Lord Help Me was apparently inspired by Muñiz's personal experiences with prayer. After learning about endangered and threatened wildlife in school, she prayed to god for help. "In school, I learned about sloths and how they're facing extinction so I began to pray for them in my nightly prayers," Muñiz said in the release. "I wrote this book to help raise money to save sloths while also teaching other children how we can pray and ask for help, two things that bring me a lot of comfort."

In an Instagram post, mom Jennifer wrote, "So proud of my lil coconut Emme, as she shares her own daily prayers in her very first book LORD HELP ME! This book will offer families a way to embrace the peace and power of everyday faith. It’s not out until 9/29, but you can pre order at the link in my bio."

Major congratulations, Emme!
