Jennifer Lopez Wore a Wedding-Worthy Dress With a Major Slit and Matching Sky-High Booties

Jennifer Lopez looks ready to walk down the aisle, but before you get too excited, it's all a part of promotion for her new song and film (Sorry, Bennifer stans).

On Tuesday, Lopez performed her new song, "On My Way," from her upcoming movie Marry Me (which premieres in February 2022) on the season 21 finale of The Voice. For the occasion, she chose an ethereal, wedding-worthy white dress with a hip-high slit. The caped gown was structured and tight around her bodice before flowing into a breezy, pleated skirt.

For the performance, she juxtaposed the elegant dress with super-high chunky platform lace-up boots in a matching shade of white. She accessorized with a gold cuff bracelet and a couple of matching statement rings. Her long, caramel locks were parted down the middle with a slight, tousled wave.

The stage was covered in old, deconstructed pianos, and J.Lo started seated on one of the instruments. She eventually got up and moved around the set, which showed projections of clips from the movie, which also stars Owen Wilson. About halfway through the song, Lopez made her way up a set of stairs to sing next to guitarist Lukas Nelson, son of legendary music figure Willie Nelson.

When she's not performing for millions of viewers, the multi-hyphenate is preparing for the holidays like the rest of us. Last week, the singer was seen shopping with her daughter Emme and boyfriend Ben Affleck, with whom she plans to spend Christmas. And a source told Entertainment Tonight that Affleck has something up his sleeve for the holiday.

"Ben is planning something special as a Christmas gift for Jennifer," the source shared before adding that Lopez "has always loved Christmas and cannot wait to spend it with Ben."
