Jennifer Lopez Steps Out in Sky-High Nude Andrea Wazen Heels With Ben Affleck at LACMA Art + Film Gala 2023

Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet with husband Ben Affleck at the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday night.

The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer looked like a bronze goddess, elevated to the heaven by six-inch heels from Andrea Wazen. The stylish nude-colored shoes featured a pointed, platform open toe with clear detailing at the toes and a double strap around the ankle. Her beau opted for smooth black leather round-toe dress ankle boots.
Lopez paired her heels with a Gucci dress featuring a rose gold bra top and sheer nude lace skirt with a high waist and high slit and glittering flowers embroidered on it. Her jewels were also from Gucci: a statement necklace with a large circular ruby pendant and pink and silver crystals, shimmery chandelier earrings and thick gold bangle bracelet. She completed the gilded look with a gold leather envelope Tyler Ellis clutch, a glossy nude lip from JLo Beauty, her signature smoky eye and her luminescent caramel hair blown out.
Affleck wore a classic black Gucci tux with a satin lapel, black bow-tie and white shirt.
The Gala was sponsored by Gucci and served as the introduction of Gucci Ancora Notte, their first evening wear collection designed by Sabato De Sarno, the Italian fashion house’s new creative director. De Sarno joined Gucci this year and had previously worked with Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada. The evening was catered by Michelin Star chef Mattia Agazzi of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Beverly Hills and featured other A-list actors, musicians, models and artists, many of whom also wore Gucci, including Yara Shahidi, Rosé and Jodie Turner-Smith.
The power couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in August, after reuniting their early-aughts romance in 2021. Lopez also launched her JLo Beauty line that year. This year, she starred in action film “The Mother” and in two wedding rom-coms in 2022: “Shotgun Wedding” and “Marry Me.” Earlier this year, Affleck starred in one of the buzziest Super Bowl commercials, working at a Dunkin’ Donuts drive through in Medford, Massachusetts (which Lopez had a cameo in). He recently directed and co-starred in another Dunkin’ ad, this time with New York rapper Ice Spice.
