From smash-hit actor to sell-out singer, Jennifer Lopez’s CV is ever-growing and seriously impressive. One of her most recent additions is her beauty line, J-Lo Beauty – and while it isn’t available in the UK (though, we’re pleading with you to bring it here, Jen), it’s clear to see that it’s mega successful and delivers the glow.
But in a new campaign for J-Lo Beauty, the entrepreneur’s radiant skin isn’t the only thing we’re staring at. In each pic, Jennifer is sporting some seriously chic highlights. These aren’t any ol’ highlights either.
Blended into her signature caramel balayage, J-Lo is sporting face-framing highlights that sit more within the blonde category. The result? Some seriously beautiful hair that frames her face and compliments her skin.
Face-framing highlights have blown up as a big trend lately. Sitting perfectly with the subtle, blended effects of balayage, face-framing highlights add brightness to the face and can help to accentuate certain face features. Think of it almost as contouring but with your hair. Clever, right?
In her new campaign pics, J-Lo’s blonde front sections are even more noticeable, thanks to the messy-yet-chic updo she’s wearing. Her hair has been pinned back with two large blonde sections lose to sit around her face.
The photoshoot was done to promote her newest beauty product, Hustle, an overnight facial treatment. In an Instagram caption, J-Lo Beauty describes the product has an “advanced nightly treatment” that will “gently exfoliate, refine texture and renew your skin while you sleep”.
We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again: Jen, you need bring it over for your UK girlies.
