Jennifer Lopez & Jennifer Garner Are Redefining Co-Parenting Goals (Again) by Allegedly 'Fostering' Their Kids' Friendship — Together

If one of your goals for 2024 is to foster a more amicable relationship with your ex-partner and their new partner for the sake of your kids, look no further than Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner for inspiration.
The two Hollywood superstars have been orbiting each other for decades — Lopez was engaged to Ben Affleck before they decided to part ways in 2004, and Affleck married Garner the following year. The Daredevil co-stars went on to welcome three kids: daughters Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, and son Samuel, 11. Meanwhile, Lopez said “I do” to Marc Anthony in 2004 and birthed twins Emme and Max, 15, in 2008.

Lopez and Anthony’s divorce was finalized in 2014 a decade after they wed. Four years later, Garner and Affleck also dissolved their marriage — allowing Lopez and Affleck to make their way back to one another. The former couple reconnected in 2021 and finally made it down the aisle in 2022, and it’s been a fairytale blended family journey for the newlyweds and Garner ever since.
Speaking to Lopez and Garner’s friendly co-parenting relationship — one that they genuinely seem to maintain without Affleck as the middleman — a source divulged just how connected the two mothers allegedly are during a chat with Us Weekly on Tuesday.
“They communicate rather frequently when it comes to their kids, scheduling plans, etc,” the insider claimed. “They know the ones who benefit the most are the children and that’s all they care about. They have a mutual respect for each other as parents and know how well all their kids get along.” The source added, “They want to foster and nurture those relationships and will do whatever it takes to show their support.”
Lopez and Garner’s five collective kids are frequently spotted laughing and smiling together while out with their parents. The three co-parents also encourage small group and solo outings, such Emme’s batting cage excursion with Affleck, Violet’s lunch date with Lopez, and Seraphina and Emme’s trip to Disneyland with Garner.
The blended family truly is THE example of peak stepparent/stepsibling dynamics, and we can’t get enough of the love, respect, and attentiveness that the trio works so diligently to maintain.
