Some of your favorite stars are celebrating their 50th birthdays this year, but can you guess who? Though celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Gwen Stefani, and Tyler Perry look anything but middle-aged, these stars, as well as many others, are surprisingly transitioning to this milestone decade in 2019. Did any of your favorite actresses and actors make the list? Read on to find out.
Jennifer Aniston
On February 11, 2019, actress Jennifer Aniston celebrated her 50th birthday with a star-studded party. The Friends star proves that she hasn't aged a minute, thanks to body-sculpting workouts like boxing which keep her lean and toned.
Matthew McConaughey
McConaughey is just as smokin' as he was when he played David Wooderson in Dazed and Confused nearly 20 years ago—and we suspect it probably has something to do with his workouts. McConaughey, who turned 50 on November 4, 2019, prefers adventurous outdoor workouts rather than pumping iron at the gym. The actor told Men's Journal that his favorite workouts are in the water, so you can catch him swimming laps in Lake Austin.
Gwen Stefani
Look. at. those. strong. arms. It's hard to believe that Stefani will be celebrating five decades of life on October 3, 2019. The singer credits her top physique to high intensity interval (HIIT) workouts. Proof that they work: She absolutely slayed the 2019 Met Gala in an eye-catching Moschino cape.
Jason Bateman
A Capricorn baby, actor Jason Bateman joined the 50 club on January 14, 2019, and he's keeping busy. The Ozark lead actor recently filmed the final season of the Netflix hit on the way, and has a main part in the 2023 biographical sports drama film Air.
Jennifer Lopez
J.Lo is body goals, simply put. One might just say she's aging in reverse, thanks to her super strict diet and tough workouts. The star, who turns 50 on July 24, 2019, doesn't appear to be slowing down. Her Instagram page is filled with videos of her hitting the gym with her trainer.
Sean "Diddy" Combs
American rapper and record producer Sean "Diddy" Combs also turns 50 on November 4, 2019 (think he throws joint parties with McConaughey?). Combs had a tough last few years, after losing his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Kim Porter, to pneumonia in 2018.
Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett turned 50 on May 14, 2019. Yes, she actually has been around for five decades, and her laundry list of prestigious awards is a testament to her successful 30-year acting career. The secret to her glowing skin? Vitamin C serum, of course!
Tyler Perry
Tyler Perry's success as an actor and filmmaker speaks numbers. In 2011, Forbes listed him as the highest paid man in entertainment, and in 2019, he became the first Black man to solely own a film movie production studio with the expansion of his Atlanta-based Tyler Perry Studios. Perry will turn 50 on September 13, 2019.
Jason Priestly
Though Jason Priestly appeared wrinkly and white-haired for his role in Lifetime's upcoming Casteel Family movie series, the former 90210 actor is much younger IRL. Priestly turns 50 on August 28, 2019.
Shawn "Jay Z" Carter
Jay Z, husband to Beyoncé, celebrated his 50th birthday on December 4, 2019. The Brooklyn native is tied with Eminem for the rapper with third-most top ten hits in Billboard history. Keep up the amazing work, Jay!

Matthew Perry
Yes, Chandler Bing is turning 50 this year. Can you believe it?

Peter Dinklage
That's right, Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage only turned 50 on June 11, 2019. While the HBO hit series is now over, with its prequel series House of the Dragon now airing, we look forward to seeing more of Dinklage on the big screen.
Renee Zellweger
Renee Zellweger doesn't look a day over 30. The actress turned 50 on April 24, 2019. While many people are quick to call the Chicago star out for plastic surgery, we do know that she keeps in red carpet shape by hitting the treadmill.
O'Shea "Ice Cube" Jackson Sr

Matt Damon

Kelly Ripa
The actress-turned-Morning Show sensation Kelly Ripa rang in her 50s on October 2, 2020. While still hosting Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa has occasionally returned to the silver screen with parts in Riverdale, and will likely be reprising her All My Children character Hayley Vaughan when its reboot Pine Valley airs.
