Jennifer Lopez Fans Freak Out After Noticing a Man Hiding in the Back of Her Recent Selfie

• Instagram users are torn over whether the person is a man with a face mask, a kid, or just a creepy dude.

• A source close to J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez explained what's really going on in the pic.

It’s hardly shocking when Jennifer Lopez shares a gym selfie on Instagram. After all, she works out pretty much every day and, ya know, she’s J.Lo. But a recent snap is kinda-sorta-totally freaking people out.

The selfie, which was posted earlier this week, shows an abs-bearing J.Lo working it for the camera at a gym. But, if you look really closely over her shoulder, it seems like there’s a man looking through the window behind her. His hair is short, and it looks like he’s wearing a face mask.

While plenty of people focused on how amazing the Marry Me star looks in the comments, others—who apparently have really, really good vision—want to know what’s up with the man in the background. This seems to be a "The Dress" situation, because everyone is seeing something slightly different.

"Who’s that guy tied up in the back??" one Instagram user wrote. "So are we not going to talk about the person behind her hold[ing] their mouth?" another said. "What’s with the man with his mouth covered in the back bedroom??!!" someone else wrote. "Who’s that in the mirror over your shoulder?" another wrote. Some people can’t see it, others are calling out specifics like the guy is right in front of them.

Others offered up "answers": "It’s a bald man that works at that gym and he has a medical mask on," someone said. Other people suggested it’s a kid, or maybe a total creeper.

J.Lo has yet to address the man/kid/creepy dude in the background, but a source close to her and A-Rod told People what fans saw was a Zoom meeting on the former New York Yankee's laptop screen.

"Jen and Alex’s gym is attached to their office space. When they have a Zoom meeting, they project it on to a big screen," the source said.

"You can see Alex’s arm in the photo (he’s wearing a blue shirt)," the insider continued. "The man in the photo was a business associate on Zoom (on the big screen) and his hand was covering his mouth. That is not a mask."

Mystery solved.
