Shapeshifting is defined as speculative fiction, mythological folktale and something only capable of fantastical creatures; Monsters Inc's Randall Boggs, I'm looking at you. However, showing, once again, that she's a multi-talented powerhouse to be reckoned with, Jennifer Lopez just proved her ability to physically shapeshift with a somewhat transformative hair look. Optimus Prime, eat your heart out.
As one does, JLo took to her Instagram feed with an at-home bathroom selfie, donning a cropped athleisure wear top and matching trackie bottoms. But arguably, what drew our attention wasn't the 'fit but the bob-like cropped hairstyle.
On initial glance, it can be argued that it appears Jen has chopped off her long lengths in replacement of a cropped 'do. However, upon closer inspection, it's clear to see that her locks are still intact and instead, have been swept up into a bun to create the illusion of a faux bob.
I mean, if it weren't for the end lengths of her hair poking out above the back of her bun, we could've been convinced that JLo was the latest member of the coveted celebrity bob brigade.
Alas, while the singer is still repping her caramel blended chest-length locks, there's no denying that the look in its entirety proves that Jenny from the block can rock just about any hairstyle – and still look as glam as ever.
