Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been flooding Instagram with workouts that take #fitcouplegoals to a whole other level. Recently, the powerful duo decided to take their wellness obsession into the kitchen and did a 10-day eating challenge—completely nixing carbs and sugar from their diets. A-Rod was the first to post about it over a week ago. "Join me and Jennifer for a 10-day challenge. No carbs, no sugar. Who's in?" he wrote alongside a video of the couple casually pulling up to the gym in a Rolls-Royce. "Someone hide the cookie dough," he continued. The next day, he posted another photo of himself holding a giant piece of steak, saying: "No carbs + no sugar = lots of meat." J.Lo also shared on Instagram how the first 24 hours had already, "taught [her] a lot about what sugar does to the body."

She didn't go into detail—but, ICYDK, sugar can actually be quite addictive. In fact, as we've reported before, it stimulates your brain in the same way as cocaine. When you cut it out completely, you might notice some drastic changes affecting everything from your heart and brain to your skin and joints. J.Lo, for instance, noticed a change in her energy—something that's also a consequence of going low-carb.

"So it turns out, when you don't have sugar and you don't have carbs, you're really hungry all the time," she said in another Instagram Story. "So we're here trying to figure out a lot of good snacks."

In the next story, she shared what she was munching on, which included cucumber, red peppers, sugar-free Jell-O, tuna poke, canned tuna with mustard and celery, green beans, and yellow peppers. A-Rod, on the other hand, said he had eggs and avocado and was "dying."

Day three of the challenge, A-Rod shared the couple's lunch: a giant salad with hard-boiled eggs, cucumber, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, ground turkey, and Brussels sprouts.

Needless to say, this keto diet-esque journey wasn't easy for the couple, which is why they decided to post a public video on Instagram challenging a few of their famous friends to join them: Hoda Kotb and Michael Strahan included.

Kotb was totally on-board and is currently on day six of the challenge. Even though it hasn't been easy, she has stayed true to her commitment, even when Carson Daly tried to bribe her to cheat by offering to donate $5,000 towards a charity of her choice. "I'm going to give $5,000 to my favorite charity instead of you," she said on the Today Show, refusing to back out of the challenge.

Awed by Kotb's commitment, J.Lo took to Instagram to share that she was going to match both her and Daly's donation. "When you stand for something, you make beautiful things happen," she wrote alongside a video of the interaction between Kotb and Daly. "Alex and I will match your donation! A lot can happen in 10 days."

Now, J.Lo and A-Rod are almost be done with their challenge (today is their last day), but J.Lo is already thinking about round two! "We did it," she recently shared to her Instagram Stories. "Alex and I have struggled through. Anyone who stuck with us through the 10-day-challenge congratulations. Maybe we'll stop for a few days and then get back on it and some of you can join me for the second round."

Seriously, this woman is unstoppable.
