We have been granted some seriously *major* celeb red carpet moments recently, thanks to the Met Gala, Cannes Film Festival and the Tony Awards all taking place recently. On Sunday night, Lupita Nyong'o made us do a proper double take by wearing a black tux with a custom breastplate underneath for the 2023 Tony's, while the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Graham, Irina Shayk and Elle Fanning have been serving back-to-back epic lewks over the past few weeks, providing fashion girlies with their fill of truly incredible style.
But even though this year's awards season might be basically over (weep!), that doesn't mean the occasions to wear some seriously fab 'fits are. Enter, the endlessly glamorous Jennifer Lopez, who absolutely *slayed* last night at the premiere of hubby Ben Affleck's latest film.
Hitting the red carpet for The Flash in Los Angeles, J-Lo opted for a super daring – but chic AF – gown, and we are not worthy.
It's giving "ready for a spot of scuba diving" on the top, and "red carpet glam" on the bottom... And that's a sentence we never thought we'd say. The dress in question is a design by Gucci, straight from the brand's Cruise 2023 runway show in Seoul, and featuring a scuba-style longline bodice zipped aaaaaall the way down and a contrasting peachy satin skirt.
Obsessed doesn't even begin to cover it. J-Lo even shared a whole carousel post on Insta dedicated to the 'fit – and we can understand why.
Now, with a dress this WOW, accessories should be kept to a minimal – something that JLo knows all too well. The singer completed her look with platform heels, multiple cocktail rings and a simple black clutch by Kurt Geiger. Yes, you read that right!
While the rest of her 'fit might be next-levels expensive (actually, her dress is so fresh off the runway that it isn't even on sale yet!), her bag for the night is just about affordable enough to make its way into our own wardrobes. And it's the perfect goes-with-everything piece that you just NEED for wedding season.
