The Academy made the mistake of not nominating Jennifer Lopez, but joke’s on them because J.Lo decided to skip the ceremony and make a bee-line to the after-parties. And reader, let me tell you, the caliber of ~look~ Lopez brought to the after-party circuit proved what we had suspected all along: The Oscars do not deserve J. Lo.

Lopez shared photos from her extremely Hollywood night out on Instagram, posting a profile shot to her grid as well as a full-body image to her story. The multi-hyphenate arrived at Vanity Fair’s annual Oscar party in a liquid metallic beaded Julien Macdonald gown with a plunging neck, a tasteful hip cutout, and a slit so high that Lopez’s entire leg was on display.
