When makeup artist Scott Barnes revealed on Instagram that Jennifer Lopez, the queen of glow, was making a bronzer, I was convinced the news was too good to be true. The multi-hyphenate is the master of the bronzed glow seen all over Instagram since even before Instagram was a figment of coding in someone's imagination. Her radiance is so iconic that it has its very own name: "J.Lo Glow." With that in mind, the concept of Lopez creating her own bronzer seemed too obvious to happen. But it is, and Lopez teamed up with Polish cosmetics company Inglot to make it happen. As Barnes wrote on Instagram, the new bronzer is "pretty amazing." I can confirm this fact, too.

Dubbed Boogie Down Bronze, the bronzer is embossed with the singer's initials so you know it's not just any bronzer. It combines a balanced blend of cool and warm tones to make it flattering on a wide variety of skin tones. If I had to give the bronzer a shade description, I'd call it caramel. Unlike most bronzers on the market, J.Lo's doesn't have even the slightest hint of shimmer. It's completely matte and velvety soft. And because the powder is so finely milled, you can easily blend it onto your skin to make it seem like the glow is completely your own — not the work of the master herself.

And that's not all. Lopez also teamed up with Inglot on a full line of makeup. The bronzer is one of 70 different J.Lo-approved products. Yes, 7-0. I'll give you a second to let that sink in. Soon you'll be able to completely Jennifer Lopez-ify your makeup routine, including your lips, lashes, and lids. Nails are not neglected with the new line, either. Polishes make an appearance among the 70 pieces, including a sandy nude hue called Latte.

Bronzer aside, I'm most excited about the Livin’ The Highlight, a champagne-colored loose-powder illuminator. It comes with a fuzzy puff applicator that makes me nostalgic for the days of body glitter and blasting "Waiting for Tonight" on my sister's boombox. It's an amazing companion for the bronzer. The LipGlossy is also a highlight. Let's be real, high-shine lips are just as much of a hallmark of J.Lo's look as her glow. Plus, the trend is making a comeback this spring.

Another essential part of the collection is its palette situation. If you're familiar with Inglot then you know about its Freedom System. Not sure what I'm talking about? It's Inglot's custom palette line, which is also featured in Lopez's collab. She designed her own refillable palette that you can click her five bespoke blushes, two highlighter trios, and 20 eye shadows into for the color combo of your choosing. As Lopez said in a statement, "Now you no longer have to buy that 5-piece eyeshadow kit to get the one color you really want.” Instead, you can pick and choose exactly which J.Lo shades speak to you.

The Jennifer Lopez x Inglot collaboration officially launches on April 26 on jenniferlopezinglot.com, inglotusa.com, in Inglot stores, and in select Macy’s locations.

However, you can shop the "First Look" palette now on jenniferlopezinglot.com.
