This Saturday, July 16, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez obtained a marriage license in Clark County, NV, according to TMZ, who are reporting the couple is officially married. The license is in both of their legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez. A source close to the couple has confirmed that they are in fact officially wed.

Lopez and Affleck were first engaged in 2002, before eventually parting ways in 2004. They each went on to marry others— Lopez married musical artist Marc Anthony and had twins with him, Emme and Max. Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner, and they had three children together, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.

They reunited in 2021 and got engaged early in 2022. Affleck gave Lopez a green diamond engagement ring cut in a similar style to the pink diamond he'd given her almost twenty years earlier.

In her newsletter to fans, she wrote of the proposal, “Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed.”

She continued, “[I] just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again...I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘Is that a yes?’ I said, ‘YES of course that's a YES.’”

In the past few months they've been seen house hunting and have reportedly spent a lot of time with one another's kids in an attempt to blend their family. They seem to have settled on an estate in Beverly Hills previously owned by Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman that was rumored to go for $60 million. Moving trucks have been seen at the property and near the couple's current homes.
