A couple who dresses together, stays together — that is, according to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez who wore coordinating winter outfits to brace the cold front in usually-warm Southern California. On Wednesday, the duo was spotted holding hands before Affleck's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his new movie The Tender Bar.

For the stroll, Lopez had a monochromatic moment with baggy paper-bag jeans and a long, light blue overcoat to match. She paired the look with a gray, sequined sweater that she wore tucked into the belted pants and booties in the same shade. She accessorized with a baby blue Valentino bag and a beige infinity scarf, while her curled hair was pulled back into a tight, half-up ponytail.

Affleck chose a button down of the same color as J.Lo's outfit and a tan coat that coordinated with her scarf. He completed his look with navy blue trousers and brown dress shoes.

During his interview with Kimmel, Affleck addressed the backlash he received for his appearance on the Howard Stern Show, saying his feelings were "hurt" that his words about his ex-wife Jennifer Garner were taken out of context.

"I had gone on, said how much we respected each other, cared about each other, cared about our kids, put them first," he explained. "It said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism, that I was trapped in this marriage, just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid, awful guy."

"I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom," he added, referring to his three kids Violet, 16, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, whom he shares with Garner. "That's not true. I don't believe that. It's the exact opposite of who I am, what I believe."
