Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Packed on the PDA in the Dominican Republic

After a whirlwind weekend of did-they-or-didn't-they breakup rumors, very telling TikTok posts, and not-so-telling Instagram Stories, Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, appeared to be very much still together. In photographs published by The Daily Mail, Lopez and Rodriguez can be seen kissing. The two reunited over the weekend in the Dominican Republic, where Lopez is filming her new movie Shotgun Wedding.

In the snapshots, Lopez can be seen lounging on a patio wearing a plush white robe. Rodriguez was wearing a bucket hat and a relaxed, short-sleeved (and very resort-appropriate) button-down. After rumors of their breakup surfaced late last week, the couple issued a joint statement on Saturday, stating that the reports were "inaccurate" and that Lopez and Rodriguez are "working through some things."

Outlets are continuing to publish stories citing "sources" close to the couple that state the relationship is not as solid as the new photos would lead fans to believe. A new story from The Sun explains that Lopez feels like "she can't trust" Rodriguez and that she doesn't "want to be embarrassed anymore" by him or his actions.

"These latest cheating rumors are the final straw. Everyone knows she can do better and doesn't deserve this," the source noted.

Many publications pointed out that Rodriguez's supposed conversations with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy were what led to the breakup, though she insists that they never met.

"He's never physically cheated on his fiancée with me," LeCroy told Page Six last month. "I don't want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this."
