Jennifer Lawrence Stuns In A Knitted Silver Dior Dress On The Red Carpet

Jennifer Lawrence was the belle of the ball at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, May 21st. While she really turned heads in the red Dior ballgown and matching flip-flops, we can’t stop thinking about the other Dior dress she wore the day before. To promote her new documentary Bread and Roses, the actress-turned-producer donned a netted silver Dior gown that looked like the perfect dress for the summertime.

No one steals the red carpet spotlight quite like the Don't Look Up star. She walked the red carpet to promote her new documentary Bread and Roses, which explores the lives of three Afghan women following the Taliban’s takeover in Kabul. For an afternoon photocall, Jennifer stunned in a chic silver, backless netted sleeveless dress.

The drapey Dior gown featured a strappy, breezy design and the knitted style almost looked pearly with its interlocking rows of delicate crochet. The plunging low-cut back revealed a silk bra with wrinkled straps. At the back, the matching bodice was cinched by a thin bow. Jennifer's been rocking some crochet lately.

She accessorized with matching silver sandals, a silver Longine watch, a ring, and a simple pair of Alison Lou's $2,450 Pear Cocktail drop earrings set with white topaz and black enamel. Jennifer styled her blonde hair swept back into a low chignon bun. As for makeup, the actress opted for neutral-toned, glowy makeup with light eyeshadow, a swipe of mascara, nude lipstick, and rosy blush.

While some fans loved her look and commented that the dress was "Stunning," and, "Chic," others did not feel the same way. "It seems like a giant swimsuit beach cover-up?
