Jennifer Lawrence has taken quite a step back from public events in recent years, especially since welcoming her 14-month old son Cy with husband Cooke Maroney.

But, this week, she stepped out in style while supporting her upcoming new film, No Hard Feelings.

In one of her few red carpet appearances of the year, the Hunger Games alum stopped by the opening night of CinemaCon in Las Vegas to promote the new comedy movie—but her fashion for the event may have stolen the show.

The 32-year-old Oscar winner kept her wardrobe simple and classic for the evening, but the ensemble was still nothing short of stunning, as she donned a super chic little black dress from Versace, which was paired with a set of sheer tights to accentuate her ultra-toned legs.

The look was perfectly accessorized with a very glitzy gemstone necklace and a pair of baby pink satin bow heels, also from Versace. Her blonde locks were let down and styled in soft waves for the evening.

While attending the event at Caesar's Palace, the Silver Linings Playbook star playfully bantered with No Hard Feelings director Gene Stupnitsky as they promoted their new film.

Stupnitsky credited Lawrence as "a true comedy natural" in the movie, which centers around two helicopter parents who hire a woman to date their 19-year-old virgin son Percy, played by Andrew Barth Feldman,

"And this is based on your life, right?” Lawrence joked to the director during their CinemaCon chat, as Variety reported. "No, it’s actually based off a Craigslist ad," he countered.

But naturally, Lawrence kept the joke running, adding, "But you were a virgin for, like, a crazy long time. You were 26?" to which Stupnitsky conceded, "Jennifer, you’re so hilarious. I wrote this part for you."

No Hard Feelings is expected to release exclusively in theaters on June 23.
