Jennifer Lawrence Said Donald Trump Made Her Reconsider Her Political Views

"I was a little Republican."

Mixing prints isn't easy — even with two prints as classic as cheetah and polka dots — but Jennifer Lawrence managed to pull it off.

The actress stepped out in New York City on Monday in a casual early-fall outfit, coordinating a cheetah print face mask with a pair of black polka dot trousers. She added a yellow T-shirt and beige cardigan to the mix, finishing off the look with a pair of black Converse sneakers and a matching black handbag.

And just like that, she elevated a casual, comfy outfit by pairing a louder cheetah print with a more toned-down polka dot.

Lawrence is no stranger to pulling together seemingly at-odds patterns. Earlier this month, she was photographed wearing two different fall patterns: stripes and plaid.

More recently, the actress discussed her political views on the Dear Media's Absolutely Not podcast, admitting she was "a little Republican" and that in her first election, she voted for John McCain. However, her views changed after seeing Trump's administration and the current state of the nation.

"This is an impeached president who's broken many laws and has refused to condemn white supremacy, and it feels like there has been a line drawn in the sand. I don't think it’s right," she said. "It just changes things for me. I don't want to support a president who supports white supremacists."
