Jennifer Lawrence and Her Ex-Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult Had a Moment at the 'Dark Phoenix' Premiere
Jennifer Lawrence and her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult had a reunion last night at the X-Men: Dark Phoenix premiere-and the two made it clear to everyone that there's nothing awkward about their relationship now. They're friends and good ones. The two were photographed having a laugh at the Los Angeles screening.
Hoult and Lawrence dated each other for four years. But they've both moved on since then: Hoult welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, model Bryana Holly, last April. Lawrence got engaged to Cooke Maroney earlier this year. During the premiere, she gushed about Maroney to Entertainment Tonight. "Well, he's just the best person I've ever met in my whole life," Lawrence said of Maroney. Saying yes to his proposal, "it was a very, very easy decision."
Back in January, Hoult spoke to ES magazine about his and Lawrence's relationship now, along with his with everyone else from the film. They're like family.
"It’s pretty similar to Skins [the UK teen series Hoult starred on from 2007 to 2008], we’re a big family, we’ve been doing those movies since we were 20 years old," Hoult started.
"As much as the Skins crowd grew up together, the X-Men crowd really grew up together. It’s been a good eight, nine years making those movies," he continued. "We’ve all got to get along, we’ve all got to have fun. The really beautiful thing about this last film is that [writer and director] Kim Berger has given me somewhere nice and new to experiment and go with the character. Which is cool."
