Sometimes, the things that glitter really are gold.

Last night, Jennifer Lawrence made a major return to the red carpet for the world premiere of Don't Look Up. Celeb stylist Kate Young dressed the actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, in a sparkling gold Dior gown from Maria Grazia Chiuri's spring 2022 collection. The dramatic silk dress featured floor-length, pleated cape sleeves and delicate embroidery. On the jewelry front, Lawrence wore Tiffany & Co. earrings.

Lawrence became an ambassador of the storied French fashion house in 2012. Since, Dior has dressed the Academy Award–winning actress in some of her most memorable looks.

When she accepted her first Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook in 2013, she wore a voluminous champagne gown from the brand's couture spring/summer 2013 collection. And when she married art gallerist Maroney in an ultra-private Rhode Island ceremony back in 2019, her Dior wedding gown was rumored to not only have its own hotel room, but was also reportedly guarded by the label's entire design team.

At the time of her ambassador appointment, former Dior creative director Raf Simons said, "Like everyone else, I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence in the roles she played in action movies. I was, of course, struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also impressed by her powerful interpretations of subtler more rounded characters. Her youth and her classic beauty, but also her force of character and the complexity she's capable of embodying at such a young age, are, for me, both unique and very moving."
