Amid the New York heat wave, Jennifer Lawrence managed to stay cool today in a very breezy ensemble.

The Hunger Games star was seen walking solo around Manhattan Thursday morning wearing an effortlessly elegant beige midi dress with crochet straps and matching crochet stripes throughout. She paired the piece with her go-to strappy caramel Manolo Blahnik sandals—which she wore out previously while on day outings with husband Cooke Maroney—and Christian Dior's coveted saddle bag in blue suede with gold hardware. The actress further accessorized with a very boho gold necklace with a turquoise stone, and yellow and orange tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Lawrence looked carefree in her coastal grandmother-meets-craftcore look, and seemed to be listening to music on her Airpods as photographers snapped her photo. The low-key star wore her straight hair down and was seemingly makeup free.

This season, Lawrence has been giving us a masterclass in lazy summer dressing. She and Maroney—who welcomed their first child together earlier this year—have been pictured on several errand runs and dates around the city, always dressed down in white tees and simple accessories.

Earlier this week, the Don't Look Up star styled her classic tee with airy beige wide-led trousers and black sandals. She held hands with her gallerist husband, who paired his crisp T-shirt with a pair of navy pants, black Vans sneakers, and matching sunglasses.

On another day date, Maroney channeled downtown New York cool in a pair of navy blue trousers with matching Vans and black shades. Meanwhile, Lawrence opted for easy elegance in a pair of light-wash wide-leg jeans, a scarlet button-up, her Manolo Blahnik sandals, and tortoiseshell sunglasses. She also toted around a beige leather shoulder bag from The Row.

And for a dinner date earlier this month, Lawrence styled her staple piece with a cobalt blue maxi skirt and the same sandals. She carried a slouchy pastel yellow bag and accessorized with a simple gold necklace. Her husband kept it casual in a pair of tan slacks to go with his white tee and matching beige-and-white suede Vans.
