Jennifer Garner Traded Her Heels for Sneakers Halfway Down the Red Carpet

Jennifer Garner was all smiles and glowing while attending the Los Angeles premiere of her film Family Switch last night.

The actor arrived at the AMC theater in the Grove in a vibrant red minidress that matched the red carpet. The flirty, sleeveless piece featured a fitted bodice that flowed into a ruffled, asymmetrical miniskirt. One side of the skirt rose up, creating the illusion of a subtle leg slit.

Staying true to her easy, minimalist style, Garner paired the dress simply with strappy black sandals and silver and diamond jewelry, including drop earring with red gems, a diamond tennis bracelet, and a ring. She also kept her glam simple with natural rosy makeup, a wavy bob, and a glossy red manicure to match her dress.

And in a very Jen Garner move, halfway down the carpet the actor traded her sandal heels for a pair of comfy white-and-red sneakers. And she even did a leg kick for the cameras.

Garner has been promoting her new movie all week. On Monday, she stopped by The View’s studio in New York City while in a preppy fall ensemble that included a winter-appropriate miniskirt in a stone gray tone. She changed into another winter skirt after her appearance on the show: a navy scarflike wrap skirt which she paired with a ribbed navy mock-neck bodysuit, a long black coat, thigh-high camel boots with stiletto heels, and dangly diamond earrings.

Today, November 30, Family Switch comes out on Netflix. The movie is a body-swap family Christmas comedy inspired by the 2003 classic Freaky Friday.
