  • She shared it in honor of the late artists who styled and captured the photograph.

  • “What a little peanut,” she captioned the post.

Every now and then, Jennifer Garner will bless her Instagram followers with a throwback photo. And the latest one is pure gold. The catch is, though, if it weren’t for her caption, we’d be hard-pressed not to think it was shot last week.

“What a little peanut,” the now 50-year-old wrote under the glamorous side-profile capture in which her hair appears windswept, a button-up draped naturally off her shoulder. She’s in a relaxed pose—her knee bent, and it’s unclear if she’s wearing pants. Oh, and her makeup? It’s truly flawless, smoky, but glowing and natural.

Garner concluded the post by acknowledging the late glam squad behind her look. “Shot by three incredible artists who are no longer with us: 📸😇: #HerbRitts, 💄😇: #PaulStarr, 💆🏻♀️😇: #RayAllington,” she wrote.

As always, fans and friends were awestruck by Garner’s beauty. “Absolutely stunning! They captured your incredible essence perfectly. I’m so sorry they are no longer with us. This photo of you honors them in a powerful way,” one person commented. “So beautiful Jen then and still :),” another added. “Beautiful inside & out❤️,” someone else wrote.

Garner unfortunately didn’t date the photo, but thankfully, one of her last major throwback posts came with a bit more context. And it took fans’ breath away with equal allure.

On February 23, she shared a spicy throwback that paid homage to Alias. It was her 2002 Rolling Stone cover, and she was dressed as her character, CIA secret agent Sydney Bristowe wearing a leather crop top, skirt, and knee-high heeled boots. “Twenty years ago this week. 👧🏻🎸🙈 @rollingstone,” she captioned the post. The magazine’s tagline appropriately called her “just your average butt-kicking coed in leather.”

A lot has changed since Garner was kicking down doors as Agent Bristowe, and since she posed for late photographer Herb Ritts. For one, she became founder and CEO of her own baby food brand, Once Upon a Farm, and has had dozens more acting roles, including her most recent film The Adam Project, which doubled as a 13 Going on 30 reunion with Mark Ruffalo.

The star has experienced a lifetime’s worth of adventure over the last 20-plus years. We can’t wait to see what memory she shares next.

In the meantime, if like us, you’re wondering what’s keeping her skin glowing and looking so youthful, you’re in luck! We’ve got the details on some of her skincare and hair favorites, below.
