Jennifer Garner is stepping out with her new love—and the pair love to share their fitness routine!

The actress and entrepreneur, 51, was spotted jogging in Los Angeles in a rare public appearance with longtime boyfriend John Miller, 45, a businessman and CEO of restaurant chain CaliBurger and its parent company, CaliGroup. The fit couple began dating in 2018, a few months before Jennifer’s divorce to actor-director Ben Affleck was finalized.

Jen & John Have Dated Since 2018, But Keep Relationship 'Very Private'

Jennifer and John's "jogging date" was a rare joint public appearance for the twosome who, according to an insider that recently spoke with Us Weekly, prefer to keep their relationship "very private." For date nights, said the source, the couple enjoys simply "[Meeting] at each other's houses—even for a quick glass of wine or for a low-key dinner date night away from prying eyes." The longtime pair does not live together, and only spend overnights "when the timing is right," sometimes going on "secret getaways" to get some romancing R&R in locales like Italy and New York.

Before getting together with John, Jennifer was famously married to Ben Affleck from 2005 to 2015, sharing children Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. Previously, John was married to Caroline Campbell, and their divorce was finalized about a month after he started dating the Alias star. The ex-couple share 2 children together. A source said in 2019, "Jen having a boyfriend has been the best thing to happen to Ben and Jen in a long time. Ben’s become a better parent…They’re coparenting in a way they never have before." Ben has notably remarried to his once-former flame, Jennifer Lopez, since his divorce with Jen—however, the Juno actress seems more reluctant to jump back into marriage than her ex-husband was.

Couple Once Previously Broke Up Due To 'Commitment Issues'

Though the happy duo seem stronger than ever now, they did have a brief split back in mid-2020 due to issues around commitment, specifically, on Jennifer's part. A source told Us Weekly at the time, "[John] was ready for marriage and she just couldn't commit." The breakup was short-lived, however, and the pair got back together in spring 2021. Friends said of the renewed relationship, "Jen’s friends are happy she’s found a nice guy who treats her well. They trust her judgment and John is certainly a steady and positive influence in her life." Though it seems Jen still isn't quite ready to commit to marriage, an insider shared, "Jennifer adores John and still sees a long-term future with him. There’s no desire on her part to slow things down, spend less time together or anything like that...She’s just decided after a lot of thought that she’s just not in a hurry to rush down the aisle just yet and that she feels perfectly happy cherishing and enjoying what they have—for now—without a formal label."

Another source noted, "John is so smitten and caring, but not in an overbearing way... He gives Jen space when she needs it but he’s there for her when the chips are down or she’s in the mood for something spontaneous. They’ve enjoyed some wonderful getaways together...that’s one of their big things." The twosome have not yet walked the red carpet together, but John did attend the premiere of Jennifer's new showThe Last Thing He Told Me, in LA, meeting her inside the theatre for the viewing and allowing the actress to receive her red carpet adoration solo.
