Throughout her decades-long career, Jennifer Garner has modeled for her fair share of magazine shoots (see: her Alias-inspired Rolling Stone throwback circa 2002)—and at 51, she may have just outdone herself. On Allure’s latest cover, The Last Thing He Told Me star rocks a pale pink sports bra and shorts layered under a transparent t-shirt dress and blonde (!!!) hair. As expected, the transformation and sultry-sporty vibe has fans dropping all the fire emojis.

“Thank you, @allure. XX,” Garner captioned an Instagram sharing the cover and crediting the creative team behind the shoot. They all clearly had fun with it, as one of the other shots features Garner wearing a bright red bob and dark, smokey eye makeup (an ode to her Alias days?). In another, she rocks a bright yellow raincoat and a mushroom-shaped platinum wig.

The cover image, though, is a friend- and fan-favorite, by far. “This is why you are the REAL DEAL, Jennifer! You go from wet hair and no makeup in your ‘Pretend Cooking Show’ to rocking the cover of a magazine as the hottest mom in America, and we are here for ALL. OF. IT.!!!” one person commented. “These are so gorgeous. What a blast.❤️” Andie MacDowell added. “Jaw on the floor 🔥,” Kerry Washington wrote.

In the Allure interview, Garner opened up about triumphing her paparazzi-ridden fame tornado of the early 2000s while starting a family, about founding an organic snack brand (Once Upon a Farm), and about her beauty routines—particularly the hair care regimen she started with Virtue when she began working with the brand three years ago. “It actually works,” she said. “I’m religious about the shampoos and conditioners—they’re total game changers.”

Garner also opened up about aging in the interview. The 51-year-old says she has zero regrets about how she’s lived life thus far. “What’s the point?” she said. “They sink you, and for what? There’s nothing to be gained.”

Whether it’s beauty recommendations or life advice, there is something to be gained from an interview (or heck, even an Instagram post) from Garner. And we’re here for it all. Check out some of her skincare must-haves below.
