She decided to keep things simple and selfless for her April 17 birthday!

Jennifer Garner is arguably the sweetest and most relatable celebrity, especially if her upcoming birthday plans are any indication.

While chatting with Extra’s Melvin Robert about her latest role in the TV adaptation of Laura Dave’s best-selling novel The Last Thing She Told Me, Garner was asked about how she plans to celebrate her 51st year around the sun on April 17.

She noted that this age is “a lot less exciting than 50,” adding, “but I I'm gonna plant trees."

The actress often takes to social media to share an unfiltered look at her life through chaotically hilarious videos, pretend cooking shows and behind-the-scenes moments from many of her movie and TV projects, so her decision to keep things simple and selfless for her 51st isn’t exactly surprising.

And as wholesome and low-key as those plans may be, they’re also a fitting choice, as April marks the start of "Earth Month."

Garner actually has quite a green thumb, previously sharing a video of herself singing to her vegetable garden to help it grow.

The founder of “Once Upon a Farm,” which produces fresh, cold-pressed, non-GMO, organic food for babies and toddlers, also detailed her love for gardening in a previous post celebrating her uncle Robert, who works on her family's farm in Locust Grove, OK, which has been in her family for over a century. In fact, some of the crops for her company are sourced from the farm, and Garner purchased the land, which her aunt and uncle live on, in 2017, and hired the pair to help run it.

Garner’s love of gardening was inspired by her upbringing, but she told Well+Good in 2018 that she continues it for her children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11, whom she shares with ex husband and actor Ben Affleck.

"My mom grew up on a little farm in Oklahoma with cows, chickens, fresh veggies — you name it," she said. "Everything they ate, other than sugar and flour, they grew and raised."

Her upcoming project, The Last Thing He Told Me, will be available on Apple TV+ April 14.
