Jennifer Garner is proud of her status as a middle child.

The Alias actress, 50, took to Instagram on Friday to celebrate a lesser-known holiday: National Middle Child Day.

"The best thing that ever happened to me was growing up between my sisters," wrote Garner in the caption of a photo of herself and her two sisters riding in a boat as children. She also added a heart emoji, along with the hashtag "#NationalMiddleChildDay."

Her message was echoed by fellow middle child Christy Turlington, who commented "Same!" while also tagging her two sisters. Actress Holly Robinson Peete joined in to call Garner a "cutie pie," while Lacey Chabert wrote "What a beautiful pic" along with a heart emoji.

Garner has always been one to celebrate her sisters. Back in 2018, she celebrated National Siblings Day with a collage of photographs of the lookalike trio.

“First and foremost, always and forever, I am the middle Garner Girl,” she captioned the collage. “How lucky am I to have such sisters."

Garner has credited her older sister Melissa for helping her get "where I am today."

“If I’m totally honest, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the fact that I have this bigger-than-life, incredible older sister,” Garner told The Independent in 2009. “She’s beautiful, and she was valedictorian, got a 1600 on her SATs and was the head majorette. I was just the middle kid, kind of looking for attention. So that’s what drove me, I think, to do things she wasn’t doing.”

In addition to herself being a part of trio of children, Garner has three children of her own now with ex-husband Ben Affleck: Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10.
