Jennifer Garner recently attended a star-studded state dinner at the White House. The event hosted by the President and First Lady was held to welcome French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron.
Sure, that's a pretty big deal, but for the 13 Going on 30 actress, it meant so much more as it was her eldest daughter's 17th birthday. And what better way to ring in a b-day than with your mom...at the White House?!
Now, before you go get your eyes checked, we can assure you that you're not seeing double. We've been doing major double takes since seeing this mother-daughter duo's special appearance, but we guess it's just those stunning Garner genes.
Jennifer and Violet Affleck made their debut hand in hand in color coordinated black gowns. The 50-year-old actress looked stunning in a Ralph Lauren floor length gown and red lip, but honestly, Violet stole the show in a chic, billowing dress with metallic heart details designed by Carolina Herrera. She finished her fun, youthful look with red pumps and clear frame glasses.
The actress shared some behind-the-scenes clips from the evening on Instagram with a caption that read, "The White House State Dinner last night felt like a dream" and continued by writing, "My lovely date and I will remember it always".
Fans were all in agreement that this is one of Jennifer's best new looks yet and replied with messages like, "THAT DRESS!" and "Stunning! But your date - my heart skipped a beat when I saw a photo. 🙏🏾❤️"
The White House dinner marked a rare appearance from Violet, who is also the daughter of Ben Affleck. Ben and Jen also share two other kids—Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
Ever since Ben's wedding to Jennifer Lopez, the two Jennifers have made it a point to build their relationship and as we approach the holidays, there seems to be no bad blood between the two. Hollywood Life reported that Garner and Lopez are officially ready to celebrate the holidays together, and they're even planning on exchanging presents with each other.
