It’s no secret that Jennifer Garner is a huge fan of Ina Garten. The Alias star, who also hosts her own Youtube cooking show, the Pretend Cooking Show, has name-dropped Garten on several occasions while also simultaneously giving her credit for Garners’ current love of cooking. Together, the two personalities are just two peas in a pod, which is why it was such a treat to see Garner and Garten join forces on the latest episode of the Pretend Cooking Show.

The episode, which was shared to Garner’s Instagram, starts off with Garner preparing to make Cacio e Pepe Scrambled Eggs that she revealed is a recipe made by her “Queen,” Ina Garten. In the caption of the video, Garner wishes Garten a Happy Birthday, and also refers to Garten as her “Cooking Fairy.” The caption goes on to reveal that the Barefoot Contessa was exactly who inspired Garner to create the Pretend Cooking Show in the first place, making this episode a very full-circle moment.

The two stars originally sparked their friendship when they first cooked together years ago after Garten found out that Garner liked her cookbooks and TV show. Garner would eventually ask Garten if they could cook together and the unique friendship was born.

As the episode of the Pretend Cooking Show progressed, Garner quickly made herself at home in Garten's kitchen, assuming the role of head chef and doing her best to imitate her idol. At certain points, Garten takes the reins to correct some of Garner's mistakes, like reminding her that “scrambled eggs should be cooked on very low” heat, to which Garner exclaimed, “my own personal cooking fairy just showed up!”

Both Garner and Garten share countless laughs together throughout the preparation of their breakfast dish, while still keeping to the purpose of the show: to teach viewers something new in the kitchen. The two shared so much undeniable chemistry that one can only hope to see more of them together in future episodes. Or better yet — here’s hoping we’ll eventually be blessed with the ultimate collaboration: a cooking show featuring both Garner and Garten as hosts. Now that would be a kitchen dream come true.
